Josh Guggenheim
Partner & Deal Lead
Josh is a Partner at Baden Capital where he focuses on sourcing, deal structuring, and financial management. Prior to Baden, Josh led acquisitions at Gold Leaf Farming, an investment platform focused on opportunities within agriculture and water. At Gold Leaf, Josh completed over $300M of acquisitions. Prior to Gold Leaf, Josh was an investor at Lightview Capital, a private investment firm focused on B2B services and technology. Josh previously worked as a turnaround consultant at Alvarez and Marsal. He started his career at Deutsche Bank.
Josh did his MBA at Haas-Berkeley and is also a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta. Josh lives in San Francisco and can be found skiing, scuba diving, or unsuccessfully training his dog when not working.

Brandon Rebiero
Partner & Operating Executive
Brandon is a Partner at Baden Capital where he focuses on sourcing, operational strategy, and growth initiatives. Prior to Baden, Brandon held senior operational roles within a large private equity-backed agribusiness platform. He later co-founded Gold Leaf Farming, where he led operations and helped scale a 12,000+ acre permanent crop platform valued over $300M. Brandon began his career as a sales agronomist at Wilbur-Ellis, a leading agribusiness company.
Brandon grew up on his family’s almond orchard and attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He lives in Modesto, CA and can often be found on weekends working in the family orchard. Brandon is also a partner in Grobiero Farms and Rebiero Bros & Affiliates.

Jeff Journey
Operating Advisor
Jeff is a USAF Veteran with 30+ years of operating leadership in Medical Devices, Life Sciences, and other highly-engineered and regulated products and services. He specializes in taking great products and building productive teams and the disciplined commercial engines they need to scale and drive stakeholder value creation. Jeff has been an executive at firms such as ThermoFisher Scientific, Johnson and Johnson, and GE Aerospace.
A native of Nebraska, Jeff has lived throughout the US and currently lives in North Carolina.

Carsten Zimmermann
Operating Advisor
Carsten Zimmermann is an Professor at the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business, where he teaches strategic management, management consulting, digitization and global innovation courses. He is interested in questions that relate to the role of resources, ambidextrous practices and capabilities in strategic management and operations management. Recently, his work has been published in the Accounting Review, the Journal of Operations Management, Nature Cancer and Nature Protocols.
Carsten is a native of Berlin, Germany, and and received his PH.D. from Cambridge University.

Raz Ronen
Operating Advisor
Raz Ronen is the CEO of Wizor.AI, a leading technology firm focused on supply chain insights and control. Prior to founding Wizor, Raz was a commander within an elite Unite of the Israeli Air Force. Raz lives in Tel Aviv with his wife and enjoys Jeep off-roading, barbeque, and snowboarding (not in Israel).

Greg Taillet
Operating Advisor
Greg Taillet is a Private Credit investor at Barings in London. He has 15+ years of experience at various investment and banking firms including BNP Paribas and ING. He studied at Emory University and Imperial.

Tal Sarig
Operating Advisor
Tal Sarig is an entrepreneur and operator. He currently works at Carbon Direct in New York City, where is leads efforts focused on carbon removal technooogy. Tal received an MBA and Masters from Stanford University. Prior to Stanford, Tal was a commander in the Submarine Unit in the Israeli Army.

Richard Bauer
Analyst
Richard grew up at Lake Constanz in southern Germany. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Mannheim before pursuing a double-degree Master’s in Finance at WHU in Germany and UT Austin’s McCombs School of Business.

Alexi Rodriguez
Operating Advisor
Alexi Rodriguez is President and CEO of the Almond Alliance, the leading trade association representing and advocating for California’s almond industry. With more than 17 years of experience in agriculture, she brings to the role a distinctive combination of operational, manufacturing, policy, and industry leadership expertise.
Before joining the Almond Alliance, Alexi served as Chair of the Almond Board of California and as Director of Operations at Campos Brothers Farms, one of California’s largest almond handlers, with product sold in more than 33 countries. Her leadership experience includes oversight of large-scale operations across processing, manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain coordination, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the almond industry from production through global distribution.
Alexi holds a degree in International Relations from Lehigh University.

Josh Little
Operating Advisor
Josh Little oversees the Ag Transportation Department at G3 Enterprises, Inc., where he leads a team focused on delivering California crops from the field to processors. His team covers sales and operations for the business transporting agricultural commodities across the state. Over the past several years, Josh has increased his responsibilities, impacting growth across multiple business lines at G3.
Born and raised in a Sonoma County wine family, his first job in the wine industry came with an easy commute - in his family’s vineyard. Josh would later California Polytechnic University in SLO po where he earned a bachelor of science degree in Agricultural Business and also earned an MBA from USF.
When not focused on business, Josh enjoys an active lifestyle and raising three children with his wife Sarah.
